On June 21st, Fire & Safety Services delivered a 2024 Pierce Arrow XT model 2000-gpm/300-gwt/100-foot Ascendant platform to Cliffside Park.  The new Truck 2 has six seats in the cab along with portable radio and hand light chargers.  There are two crosslay hose beds, two monitors in the bucket along with a discharge gate, scene lights, slide-out tool trays and a Harrison 8 kW generator.  Ground ladders, pike poles and a stokes basket are located in a torque box compartment.
