Pooler Fire-Rescue responded to an animal rescue call involving a kitten trapped in the engine compartment of a vehicle. Crews utilized a floor jack and hand tools to carefully remove sections of the plastic under the front bumper to gain access. Once safely reached, the kitten was freed without injury.
