Phoenix has put in service a new water tender in the southside of Phoenix, an area known as Laveen. Tender 58 is a 2023 Peterbilt 548 with an Interstate Truck Body and has a 500 gallon per minute Darley pump with 4000 gallons of water. This unit features a rear dump chute, spray bars on front and rear, as well as a 100 foot one-inch booster reel off the rear. The upper tank rack will store the buoy wall for helicopter bambi bucket operations as well as a manual crane for raising and lowering the buoy wall.
