Oxford Fire-EMS extrication training

Firefighters from Oxford Fire-EMS spent multiple nights training on stabilization techniques, including the use of different cribbing, paratech strut, and high pressure air bags configurations. Firefighters also trained on the use of hydraulic spreaders, cutters and electric hand tools, to extricate simulated victims in various training scenarions. Pictured is Oxford Fire-EMS Squad 1, which is dispatched out of Fire Headquarters. Squad 1 is a Pierce PCU with 1500-GPM pump and 100-gallons of water.
