Pennsburg Fire Co. is Mourning the Death of One of Their Own

Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Fireman Jay Miles was a true first responder for the Pennsburg Fire Co. in Pennsburg, PA. Not only was he a fireman, he was the Chaplin of the fire company and also an EMT with the Upper Perkiomen Ambulance. Jay was responding as an EMT on an ambulance call when he was stricken with a medical issue. He was rushed to the hospital, and a few weeks later he passed away from complications from the medical issue. He was 69-years-old and just a few weeks shy of his 70th birthday. He is survived by his wife, Victoria, his two daughters, Crystal and Amanda, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel. A memorial service was held at Morning Star Fellowship Church on May 6th. Jay will be sadly missed by his family and the organizations that he was associated with.
