On Monday April 24th 2023 the Republic Airport Fire-Rescue conducted a live burn drill. The drill consisted of hose handling operations for fuel spills, engine fires, wheel fires, and interior attack it also consisted of truck operations. East Farmingdale Fire Department was in attendance with Engine 7. The drill was approximately 6 hours with 2 hours of class room and 4 hours of hands on training. The class was taught by 139 Fire.
