Members of the Limerick Fire Department were given access to the vacant commercial buildings at the old Kinsey Distillery property for Monday night training. The Department practiced and trained on various commercial forcible entry techniques in man doors and loading dock garage doors. Some crews also attempted breaching through the block and brick walls. Crews utilized various tools to practice entry techniques including the halligan, axe, sledgehammer and K-12 saws. To further enhance their skills, crews also practiced entry techniques while working from an aerial device. Rescue 51, Tower 51, Ladder 51, Command 51, Field 51-1, and Special Service 51 all participated in the drill.
