Photo by RON JEFFERSThe Community Fire Company, of Franklin Township Fire District 3, has placed into service a 2025 E-One Cyclone 2000-gpm/1030-gwt pumper with many features. The cab has six seats and two cabinets with a light tower mounted on the roof. There are two front discharge gates, two hose baskets and a utility reel located in a covered-extended front bumper. It has roll-out tool trays, rear-end transverse compartment, swing-out tool board, coffin-style compartment, hydraulic ladder and hard suction hose rack, rear camera, remote monitor above the pump and 8 kW generator. It carries extrication tools, saws, and a BlitzFire monitor stored in a compartment. There is a pre-connect Blitz Force monitor mounted in running board space on the officer's side of the rig. High rise pack storage is located in a compartment under the rear hose bed. The new Engine 251 was sold by Absolute Fire Protection Co.
