A.A. Young Hose & Ladder Company, in the Jewett City section of Griswold, ran this 1981 American LaFrance 1500/1000 as ET-256. Decades later, Engine Tank 256 is a slightly larger 2013 Spartan Gladiator/Smeal 2000/1500.
