Broward County Fire Rescue merged with the City of Hallandale Beach in 2020. Since then all personnel have been employees of the county but the town's yellow apparatus remained. This included a 2018 Pierce Impel 1500/750 that was designated Engine Co 7.
BCSO-FR recently assigned a new, 2023 Pierce Velocity PUC 1500/750/30 to Engine 7. This apparatus has black over red county colors.
