Photo by Bill Tompkins – www.BTFirephotos.comA mid-day fire caused significant damage to a front porch and sun room of a Wood-Ridge home on March 5th. Heavy fire was venting out of the front of the recently sold home at 271 North Ave. A second-alarm was transmitted as crews made a push and soon had the heavy fire knocked down. The structure was unoccupied at the time and the doors were all closed, keeping any fire spread to a minimum. The cause is under investigation.
