Weston Fire Rescue

Weston, MA is located 15 miles west of Boston and has a population of approximately 12,000. The town is mostly residential, however, they do have Regis College, Pope St. XX111 National Seminary and four private schools. Two major highways run through Weston, I-95 and I-90 (Mass Pike).

The Weston Fire Rescue structure consists of Chief David Soar/Forest Warden, along with 30 permanent and five call firefighters. The department operates with seven officers and firefighters assigned to each of four work groups operating out of two stations. The department responds to 2,500 calls annually, 1,000 of which are ambulance related.

Weston has four engines, one ladder truck, two ambulances, a brush truck and an ATV. All Engines and the Ladder are Emergency One Typhoons.
