Luzerne Engine 2 operating at a 2nd alarm structure fire

Wednesday March 5th the Luzerne fire dept structure fire box was dispatched for a reported commerical structure fire. A Swoyersville assistant chief arrived on scene and confirmed smoke showing from the building and a tone out for a confirmed working fire was dispatched. While units were arriving there was reports of possible entrapment and the 2nd alarm box was dispatched. It was confirmed nobody was inside the building and the fire was knocked down quickly and the building was checked from the fire floor all the way to the basement for extention. Units operated for 2 hours and the fire is currently under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal.
