Photo by RON JEFFERSFirefighters quickly knocked down a fire that appeared to have started in the garage area of an Oak Street dwelling in Ridgefield, during a brief snow storm on February 22nd. Borough firefighters were assisted by units from Cliffside Park and Palisades Park. Firefighters assisted two elderly residents from the home. They had to be relocated due to the damaged caused by the fire.
