Photo by RON JEFFERSOn August 20th, 2016, Demarest Engine 462's 1977 Mack CF 1250-gpm pumper pulled out of the firehouse for the last time. A ceremony was held on this date and the Demarest Volunteer Fire Association donated the rig to the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation. The apparatus is used for ceremonies and funerals for department members.
