(Martin, Tennessee) Martin Fire Department recently concluded another pump class. While portions were conducted in the classroom, the time spent in the field with training scenarios was arguably more important. Seven firefighters will test for the Pump Driver/ Operator certification through the state of Tennessee in the coming month. With staffing shortages continuing across the country, this infusion of new drivers for this department will help tremendously.
