Palmer has placed a 2020 Spartan Gladiator/Smeal 1500-GPM Pumper in to service. The new Engine 1 carries 1000-gallons of water with a 20-gallon foam cell. The town's classic 1989 Maxim-S, that was purchased with state funds, will go to the Mass Fire Academy's Bridgewater Campus.
