FIRE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN CONCORD, NC. Starts and will run, but does not drive (steering does not work). This truck was a front line ladder that was struck by a car on the freeway, damaging the right front suspension, steering, radiator, and cab areas. The estimate for repairs was $80,000. It's replacement was already on order, so we elected not to repair it. Since it was decommissioned, we have removed the waterway from the ladder, the Fire Commander, some emergency lighting, and the grille. It is equipped with a 12.7L Detroit Diesel 60 series engine (450 hp), Allison World automatic transmission (later known as the EVS 4000), LTI AH-75 ladder, and a 2000 gpm fire pump, GVWR 73,500 lbs.
