FIRE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN FLETCHER, NC. 1988 Simon Duplex Chassis, Model MZ-100 Ladder Truck. LTI Apparatus. Truck starts, runs and drives very well. Detroit Diesel Engine (8V92), Allison Transmission, Waterous HT-740 Pump (1500GPM). On Board Onan 6kw Generator (Diesel) that is plumbed into the fuel system on the truck. 100' ladder. Seats three in the cab and two in external seats behind the cab. Direct rear water intake, Pre-Pipe breathing air to platform, two Akron Monitors at platform, two 2 and 1/2 discharges at platform, two 500 watt telescoping lights at platform, two 500 watt telescoping lights on apparatus body, Stainless Steel Wheeel Simulators, Full compliment of ground ladders, Last Aerial test that it passed was in 2012. 2014 test report is available upon request.

Issues: Several of the hydraulic cylinders on the ladder have been replaced in recent years. The ladder works, but there is a wiring issue that will have to be addressed, as the unit is jerky at times. The feed line from the 150 gallon tank was capped/plugged due to rust issues. The vehicle runs great, and has been well maintained, but due to the age and the cost of repairs to the ladder unit, we have decided to retire this unit in favor of buying a new unit to replace it.
