This auction is for a pre-owned 1980 Ford model C8000 Boardman model F-21000 SB fire pumper truck. This vehicle was purchased new in October of 1980.

This unit will start with a jump and run, but actual working condition is unknown. We have little first-hand knowledge of this equipment as it has been on loan to the Town of Forest Park Fire Department, located in Oklahoma, since January of 1996 and was only recently returned in March of 2017. The report from a cursory inspection following the return of the unit indicates that there is a power steering fluid leak; the front brakes are over 1/2 worn, but the rears appear okay; the left spotlight, right front headlight, and right front pancake light are inoperable; coolant full; pump shifts ok and pumps okay; tranny fluid full and appears clean; air, oil, and fuel filters appear okay.

This unit is equipped with a Caterpillar diesel model 3208 engine, sticker dated 1986 and a Ford MT-643 automatic transmission. This unit is equipped with a Waterous model CMWBX 1000 GPM at 150 psi, serial plate dated February of 1980 and an unconfirmed capacity gallon water tank.

This unit shows wear and tear including, but not limited to a broken window, missing headliner, repaired body damage at right front fender, hail damage, dents, and dings. We do not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or working condition of any meter, gauge, part, or component, individually or as a whole. PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO INSPECT VEHICLE PRIOR TO PLACING ANY BIDS. Please email or call with any questions prior to placing bids.
