While driving his personal vehicle to the fire station to respond to a structure fire, Firefighter Dustin Grubbs was involved in a motor vehicle accident. During the accident, the vehicle left the road during a turn, hit a light pole and flipped over. Grubbs passed away on scene from the injuries sustained.
