Bushwick 2nd Alarm on Palmetto Street

BROOKLYN, NY - Shortly after 4:00 P.M. on February 15th, Bushwick companies were dispatched on a reported occupied structure fire at 260 Palmetto Street. First due companies arriving found a heavy fire condition with extension to the attached exposures and quickly transmitted the second-alarm. Quick work by New York’s Bravest held the fire to the original building with slight extension to the exposures. At this time, the cause of the fire will be investigated by FDNY Fire Marshalls.
